Hey there! My name is Stacey, and I'm currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Psychology and Gender, Sex, and Women's Studies. Though I was born in the middle of nowhere, I have found that I enjoy city living (the ability to walk to Rite Aid at 3AM is something I now cannot live without).
Ever since I was just a wee baby, traveling has been something that I have always loved. My family was big on yearly vacations when I was younger, so I grew up traveling everywhere from Florida beaches to Hawaiian luaus, Colorado mountains to Caribbean markets and far beyond. I find something magical in the entire process of leaving a place where I feel safe and comfortable, and opening myself up to the different people and cultures to which I am exposed.
I find refuge in books and music, both forms of escape from a country life that I found dull. Though I am the oldest of my friends, it sometimes feels as though I constantly need to be brought back to reality, as I am a notorious daydreamer. I have a passion for all forms of art, whether it be singing, drawing, or poetry. I live for autumn, fallen leaves, and cool breezes.
